Leona Lewis was bourn on the 1st April 1985 in Islington north London to Father Joe and Mother Marie. She is the middle child of three, with two brothers, Kyle and Bradley.

Leona started formally singing when she enrolled at the Sylvia Young stage school and then the Brits Academy.

At the young age of 13 Leona entered the Lady D under-18 talent show at the Hackney Empire, and won.

Leona took part in many talent competitions, shows and acoustic gigs as she was growing up, singing and dancing was a big part of her life.

Although Leona’s big passion is singing she is also a keen dancer and actor.

Leona is currently in a relationship with Lou (22). They’ve been together four years, but have lived on the same street since they were both ten.

When Leona is not working in the US she lives in Hackney with her fiancé Lou and her pet Rotweiller Rome.
